Mr. Russ has more than 30 years experience in the profession of architecture, is a partner and business manager of the firm and has over twenty years as a partner or owner of his own firm. Mr. Russ’s expertise lies in the technical and construction aspects of the profession. Since his involvement as the architect’s full-time field representative on the $8,000,000 Hyatt Oak Brook Hotel in 1972, he has developed his specialty in construction observation and contract administration. He feels that cooperation between the architect, contractor and owner during construction is critical to a successful project. Because of this philosophy, Russ + Carlson enjoys a good reputation with contractors and local building departments.
